NFPA Electrical Arc Flash Demonstration
Electricians are frequently injured or killed on the job. The most common causes are shock, arc flash, and arc blast. This test-facility footage shows an arc flash created for the video "Reducing Workplace Electrical Hazards" available from National Fire Protection Association. Steve Thomas hosts this training program based on NFPAs publication "NFPA 70E: Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace.
