NFPA Video: Electrical Worker Causes Arc Flash

This simulation shows a worker being injured by an electrical arc flash. The scene was created for the video "Safety Requirements for Electricians" available from National Fire Protection Association. The video is based on NFPAs publication "NFPA 70E: Electrical Safety in the Workplace." The mesage: always de-energize and lock out electrical equipment before working on it. In cases where it is infeasible to do so, wear the appropriate personal protective equipment as defined by NFPA 70E.
