Reply to "Environmental Critical Maintenance"

All,
To put this in context. Within the UK there are various regulators that act on behalf of the govermemnt to ensure that due diligence, prudent operatorship etc are being carried out. For SCE equipment the operator must ensure and be able to demonstrate that equipment used to detect, prevent or mitigate against major accidents and hazards is reliable, operates and is maintained to the required perfromance standards. The environmental regulator is now taking a similar approach in that any equipment that should it functionally fail may lead to an envirnomental incident. Within my company I intend to flag all items within asset registers that are safety, production and environemntally critical. A secondary hierarchy if you wish. The key point is the determination of this equipment. Iposed the question orignally to see if there wasa description already out there.
