Hi All,
I’m looking for a fundamental Plant equipment grouping template for a power plant. It’s like a methodology of plant equipment grouping of systems.
This is done by “systems”:
Chill Water System-
Chiller Systems:
Chiller #01:
Control & Instru. (CI) Systems:
Xmitter CH#1 DP (Equip no. #####)
Xmitter CH#1 Press (Equip no. #####)
Xmitter CH#1 Temp (Equip no. #####)
Electrical Systems:
Compressor Motor#1(Equip no. #####)
VFD CH#1(Equip no. #####)
XFMR CH#1(Equip no. #####)
Mechanical Systems:
Compressor #1(Equip no. #####)
Evaporator#1(Equip no. #####)
Condenser#1(Equip no. #####)
or
Boiler Systems:
Boiler #01:
MudDrum #1
Control & Instru. (CI) Systems:
Xmitter BLR#1 DP (Equip no. #####)
Xmitter BLR#1 Press (Equip no. #####)
Electrical Systems: none
Mechanical Systems:
Blow-down valve(Equip no. #####)
Check valve#1(Equip no. #####)
This is an equipment grouping hierarchy to load into a CMMS system to manage PM work and find costs. I know there are other ways like by Location or by Type but I need “by Systems”. Some have said to look at ISO 14442 and I have, very closely but I need an example or template to give me a solid idea to proceed, any help, is appreciated.
Thank you
