My first book "Audit it. Improve it! Getting the most from your vibration monitoring program" was published a couple of weeks ago and I think it will be useful to many of you.

The book fills in what I see as a major gap in training / understanding in our industry. Certification courses teach about vibration analysis, vendor training typically focuses on using the software and hardware. What is often missing is information on how to manage a monitoring program.

There is also growing interest in conforming to international standards such as ISO 55000 and ISO 9001. This book helps you determine if your program conforms to standards and best practices.

I meet a few hundred analysts per year and the story is often the same. They may know how to do analysis or troubleshooting but they are not getting the most out of their programs nor are they running them in an efficient manner - this is the situation that prompted the book...
