Calibration / Certification of MEMS Vibration Sensors (Accelerometers)

Hope you are well.

I have a quick query please which is somewhat urgent.

I have been asked by a Client whether a MEMS vibration sensor (triaxial) once deployed ever needs to;

1: Be recalibrated after being used for some time? and

2: Have a verification procedure for temperature and vibration checks in the future?

The Client is considering to enter into a Contract for Wireless Sensors (MEMS based) and whilst they appreciate these Sensors are calibrated before they leave the factory, whether ongoing recalibration / certification is required.

Any guidelines or guidance welcomed.
