Summary
The ideal candidate possesses an experienced competency in the application of multiple diagnostic technologies along with a minimum of four years experience in the development and administration of programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Provide program administration, including but not limited to semi-annual program cost justification and presentation to customers.
• Data collection, analysis, consulting, troubleshooting and reporting.
• Prepare reports in a timely manner and immediately report potential problems to customer.
• Conduct on-site program implementations and consulting.
• Prepare and present technical papers.
• Experience in applying appropriate diagnostic technology to provide accurate machinery evaluation.
• Recommend possible design enhancements and modifications supported by technical data and report generation.
• Develop new applications through pilot program administration.
• Assist Engineering in product development.
• Demonstrate and communicate understanding of the key company and division strategies, e.g. Asset Optimization
• Develop technical competence and proficiency in the following:
• Program Software
• Dual channel data collection and analysis techniques
• Advanced/automated diagnostics and statistical analysis techniques
• Multi-plane balancing; two coupling alignment and thermal growth
• Implementation of lubrication programs
• Interpretation of electrical data
• Basic ultrasonic techniques
• Fundamental knowledge of On-Line Systems
• Basic thermography inspection
• Train others in the use of maintenance technologies.
• Adherence to company and customer safety policies.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
• Bachelor’s degree and four years experience or Associates degree in technical field and five years full-time vibration and maintenance experience; or 10+ years’ full-time vibration and maintenance experience.
• Proven experience in administering and justifying maintenance programs.
• Proven ability to apply appropriate basic maintenance technologies.
• At least one year specialized experience in a specific industrial application (e.g., paper, petrochemical, refining, HVAC, machine tool, etc.) preferable.
• Two years experience with proficiency in operation and calibration of predictive maintenance monitoring equipment, including vibration, oil analysis, thermography, and ultrasonic inspections.

Other Skills and Abilities
• Detailed understanding of IBM PC applications.
• AS degree in mechanical or electrical technology.
• Knowledge of industrial plant equipment and associated safety require¬ments.
• Understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.
• Proficiency with personal computers
• Proficiency in enabling technologies:
• E-mail
• MS Office Suite
• Willingness to travel 20-50% of the time.
• Relevant Certifications:
• Vibration Level II or Vibration Institute Category II
• STLE OMA Level I
