I was wondering about 2 points as stated below during shaft vibration measurement at the test bed.
Point 1: Why are the X&Y probes showing different values despite being in the same measurement plane configured 45deg to either side of the vertical plane? Below are the overall values for the picture attached (all are um PP).
- DEX: 38 (deviation compared to DEY is 12 microns)
- DEY: 26
- NDEX: 30
- NDEY: 33
Point 2: Why is the signal level high at low frequency for the first 2 plots (orange & green) referring to DE X&Y plots of the attached picture? whereas NDE X&Y are normal.
