Yes i have several BNC termination boxes and they all work fine. IMI calls for turning the acell. power to off and take the reading. the 4-20 is all powered from the transmitter from a supplied voltage source.

Are you absolutely certain that the β€œsupplied voltage source” is present on the proper terminals?  I believe 5 & 6 are power.

Some things to check, and I’m working off a 77-year old memory so details may be sketchy.  If you are also using a Keyphasor, I remember years ago an issue (not with the 2140 but maybe 2130) that some transmitters put out a positive going spike instead of a negative going spike.  There were also some threads on getting the Keyphasor to trigger that required adjustment of the trigger thresholds.  So check if you are using a keyphasor.

There have also been discussion from time to time about the dynamic output having a positive bias voltage, as opposed to the more common negative bias voltage.  Check to see what you have with a DVM and explore the 2140 settings.

Lastly, post you problem at https://www.machineryanalysis.org/.  I know there are several people on that forum that use the 2140.
