REQUIREMENTS AND PREFERENCES
The Broward County Board of County Commissioners is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Information Systems Supervisor - Asset Management
This critical position serves as the business-side systems administrator for the Maximo computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for the Water and Wastewater Services Operations Division. Ensures the integrity and standardization of asset and work order information in the CMMS. Provides Maximo training to users. Develops, implements, and provides training on policies and procedures related to asset management and work flows. Manages projects such as CMMS upgrades, implementing mobile technologies, and other asset-related projects. Creates and analyzes reports to support asset maintenance and life cycle planning. Develops and monitors key performance indicators for asset management, and provides oversight, support, and review of asset maintenance planning and scheduling activities. Supervises an assigned group of maintenance schedulers and support staff.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in computer science or closely related field.
Requires four (4) years experience in systems analysis, systems design and/or programming experience within a computerized maintenance management system including six (6) months lead work/supervisory experience.
Special Certifications and Licenses:
Possess and maintain a valid Florida Class E Driver's License based on area of assignment.
Preferences:
Master's Degree in Computer Science or closely related field; Maximo certification; Database or Programming certifications; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification; Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic certification.
