Maintenance Superintendent Position Opening
SAP Maintenance Experience
GENERAL FUNCTION:
Supervises Maintenance department of 30 plus employees to accomplish all plant maintenance activities required to meet company objectives.
REPRESENTATIVE MAJOR ACTIVITIES:
Directs all maintenance activities to maintain plant equipment in good operating condition.
Administers plant maintenance safety program included the Risk Based Inspection program, Process Safety Management and other programs as may be required to assure employee health and safety as well as compliance with OSHA regulations.
Management of Change routinely communicates with maintenance supervisors on policy matters, work activities, and personnel goals.
Plans and coordinates plant turnarounds.
Responsible for maintenance of spare parts warehouse activity to ensure continuity of operations.
Responsible for maintenance department cost control.
Maintains equipment records of maintenance repairs and/or modifications. Must have good working knowledge of SAP program software.
Coordinates maintenance requirements with outside maintenance services and construction groups.
Knowledge of ASME Codes are preferred-not required
Coordinates activities with Plant Manager and keeps apprised of all maintenance activities.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
Education: Four year college degree in a technical field mechanical engineering is preferred.
Experience/skills: Five years experience in the chemical or petroleum processing industry, with an engineering or maintenance background.
