Dear all,

Anyone has any expience on PPI diaphragm compressor and would like to provide  some comments on the following thing.

we have two compessors installed in South Korea site, which have freqent diaphram crack issue in past months. So far the only abnormal thing we found the oil flow from OPV is not stable and with some foams inside. Also, this ISO VG 150 turbo oil is being used for two compressors and this normal oil supply temperature is 30C. I am really strange for using such a lube oil with high viscosity for this application. My understanding is high viscosity oil will be able to lower the machine efficiency ,and any air entrapped in the lube oil could not be easy to release due to high viscosity and be subsequently sucked into the oil pump, which resulted in some foams generating in the oil chamber of diaphragm compressor during the compression process, eventually causing the diaphragm crack.

Thanks for your help in advance!
