How about this tools?
reliability,standardization,compare other method etc.
I would like to set it on my CbM. program.
I got the trouble of High TAN Value in Gas turbine

if you try to present the paper for this purchase, your management may ask;

1. what is the cause of your high TAN? if you kill the cause, will normal routine of oil analysis be suffice?

anyway, if i were you,since dealing with machinery, i would go for proper oil analysis

Sorry I did not purchase anyone.
I got high TAN in Gas Turbine Engine.
Now I monitoring TAN value every month and i changed oil every 2 months.
I just used Q1000 for Monitoring since last months.
I want to know who use this tools like me and can share experience for me.

Inspect,

TAN is always monitored (trended) by deviation from the value of unused oil. I would suggest find out the TAN value of your fresh Turbine Oil from the Lubricant supplier. Then measure the used oil TAN. Taking example of Shell Turbo T46, the TAN of unused oil is typically 0.05 mgKOH/g.
